Thermoform Fill Seal
Thermoform Fill Seal uses a web of thermoformable material which is heated and formed under pressure or vacuum before being vertically filled with product and sealed with a top fed film or foil or a magazine fed lid, prior to being cut into individual packs. May be formed of one or more lanes and can include equipment to evacuate packs before sealing.
Uses: cheese, bacon, fresh and cooked meats.
- Blister Termoform Fill Seal
- The most common form of thermoform fill seal used almost exclusively pharma pills & capsules.
- Deep Draw FFS
- Deformable or thermoformable material is used to form a package which is filled and sealed to form a deep draw pack.
- Cold FFS
- Uses a deformable material such as aluminium, which is formed under pressure or vacuum before being vertically filled and sealed with a film or lid prior to being cut into individual packs. Several packaging lanes are often involved. Uses: single serve jam and preserves.
