For anyone who wants to develop the professional skill of assertiveness. Including understanding what these behaviours are (not passive nor aggressive). communicating assertively and professionally, building your confidence in these skills 


  • Identify what is and what is not assertiveness
  • Recognise barriers to assertiveness and deal with them  
  • Understanding how to communicate assertively
  • Understand the risks and benefits in being assertive


  • Develop and understanding of passive, aggressive and passive-aggressive behaviours and the difference to assertive behaviours
  • Identify what stops us from being assertive
    • Using Emotional Intelligence to aid you being assertive / professional
    • Building your professional confidence
  • Identify how to communicate assertively – even when saying no
  • Review of the Barriers – what do we need to change and why (Action plan)

TERMS & CONDITIONS: This booking form confirmation constitutes ‘acceptance of our course booking terms’. Payment for any training course is due on receipt of the invoice. Cancellations must be made within a minimum of 10 working days prior to the training course date, after which payment is required in full. Similarly, refunds of fees cannot be issued unless notice in writing is received a minimum of 10 working days prior to the training course. All cancellations will be subject to a 25% (+VAT) fee to cover administrative expenses. 

It may be necessary, for reasons beyond the control of the PPMA Ltd, to change the content, timing, speakers and/or date of the seminar, course and/or programme.
