·his is a site based Service Manager role leading a team of 5 Service Engineers from our Alton workshop.
·You will liaise with the sales team on new orders / installations and provide estimates on logistics and allocate engineering resource.
·You will manage new machinery installations including FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) & Customer SAT (Site Acceptance Tests)
·You will work with customers to ensure service contract obligations are being met and resourced – maximising your engineers and charging out to clients as applicable.
·During periods of training, you will visit principal sites across Europe (primarily Italy).

PERSON SPECIFICATION: Service Manager, Mechanical Engineer, Maintenance Manager, Service Team Leader

·You're a mechanically biased Engineer with experience of managing / mentoring/ supporting / 'team leading' a service or maintenance team.
·You will have exposure to some form of industrial capital equipment / special purpose machinery
·You’ll have a sound knowledge of Health and Safety related to machinery.


We are a very well established distributor of packaging / process machinery for the food and pharmaceutical sectors.

It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services: Service Manager, Aftersales Manager, Service Team Leader, Maintenance Manager, Capital Equipment, Special Purpose Machinery, Packaging Machinery, Process Machinery, Industrial Cap Kit, Field Service Engineer, Engineering Manager, Technical Sales Manager, Project Manager, UK Service Manager, Installation Engineer, Commissioning Engineer
