  • Warren Clark

    Managing Director | Imaging & Machine Vision Europe (IMVE)

    Warren is managing director at UK-based publisher Europa Science, where he was founding editor of Imaging and Machine Vision Europe (IMVE) in 2004. The industry-leading magazine, now edited by Greg Blackman, is the regular sponsor of the Vision Award in Stuttgart, and both Greg and Warren have been part of the judging panel at the PPMA Awards. Warren has also hosted many panel discussions on behalf of the photonics titles published by Europa Science, which also include Electro Optics, Laser Systems Europe and Fibre Systems.

  • Mark Williamson

    Managing Director | Stemmer Imaging UK

    With a professional education in engineering, Mark has been in the machine vision industry since 1989 in both sales and management roles. In 1997 he founded what is now STEMMER IMAGING UK, growing the company to be the dominant player in the UK before being the first STEMMER IMAGING acquisition in 2004. Mark now splits his time between running the UK business unit and using his in-depth market and product understanding in management roles within the wider organisation. Mark is active in the machine vision community and has held the position of chairman of the UKIVA and PPMA and is currently on the VDMA MV board.

  • Dr Boris Lange

    Imaging Business and Business Development | Edmund Optics

    Dr Boris Lange is responsible for Edmund Optics’ (EO) Imaging business and business development in Europe. Since joining the company in January 2015 as “Imaging Solutions Engineer”, Boris has been supporting European customers with technical guidance and application support with Imaging and Machine Vision systems and he was actively involved in forming a dedicated European Imaging team. Before joining EO, he gained valuable experience as an optical designer in the Analytics business unit at Polytec, developing VIS, NIR and Raman spectrometers. Boris holds a PhD in physics from Mainz University and GSI Helmholtzzentrum for Heavy-Ion Research. His thesis examined coherent EUV light sources generated by high-energy lasers.

  • Carsten Traupe

    Director Product Management | IDS Imaging Development Systems Ltd

    Carsten Traupe, Director Product Management with IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH, by education holds a master in physics. Since more than two decades he occupies senior global product management and marketing roles in several B2B technology industries, including building automation, digital identification and semiconductors. In 2016, Carsten became part of the computer vision industry. He brings a tremendous amount of experience and industry knowledge to his role at IDS and is a key driver in the further development of the company's product portfolio.

    UK & Ireland Sales Director | ClearView Imaging

    Sean is the UK & Ireland Sales Director for ClearView Imaging and has worked in the Machine Vision Industry for 10 years. He holds a degree in management and has studied mechanical engineering. He worked in logistics and operations management within the Automotive sector before moving into a sales role with ClearView.’

    Machine Vision Product Manager | SICK (UK)

    Neil has been in the automation industry for over 20 years. Most of those have been involved with Machine Vision and has been actively involved in the developing technology that is moving the Vision world forward beyond new capabilities. He is the Machine Vision Product Manager at SICK UK as well as being responsible for other automation areas such as LiDAR and Robot Guidance. Also the UKIVA Chair, he now is helping to drive the innovation and education of the many benefits that Machine Vision can bring to the UK Industrial World.

    Technical Sales Director | Alrad Imaging

    Ian Alderton has over 30 years’ experience in Machine Vision and Photonics. He has knowledge of components used across a broad range of industry sectors, applications including research and many University projects. He has been on the UKIVA Committee initially a UKIVA Director before it joined the PPMA and is a past UKIVA Chairman and PPMA board member.
