Fish inspection x-ray is optimised for bone detection with fully hygienic steel design

As a new addition to Anritsu’s x-ray range, the XR75 DualX+ Fish Inspection system utilises the company’s latest ultra-high-resolution dual-energy sensor to achieve best results detecting bones in fish fillets.

The machine is engineered for the harsh environments typical of fish plants, with a full IP69k washdown rating and thorough sanitary design, says the company. This includes a fully-sealed blue belt with integral tracking guide and a heavy-gauge steel construction. The XR75 DualX+ has a curtain-free, ‘touchless’ design for easy access and good visibility.

According to Anritsu, in addition to its high performance, its “super-long life” and ultra-high-resolution sensor contribute to an “outstanding” total cost of ownership (TCO) and exceptional reliability.

As well as x-ray systems, Anritsu engineers checkweighers, metal detectors, combined systems and its QuiCCA software. It claims to have over 200,000 inspection installations worldwide. Machines offer "superior return on investment”, it says, and comply with key quality control programmes and standards.
