Effortless integration

With the specifications listed above, the Sony IMX sensors offer exceptional performance for a wide range of applications such as industrial automation and medical imaging. Easy integration with your vision system is guaranteed, thanks to the compatible C-mount interface and small dimensions. The cameras are GenICam compatible and work with a variety of 3rd party software, including Halcon, LabVIEW, OpenCV and Arm Boards software.

Back-illuminated pixel structure

The "back-illuminated pixel structure" in the new Pregius S sensors means that the parts of the sensor that detect light are placed near the top layer of the chip. This setup lets more light reach these light-detecting parts because there's less stuff in the way, like metal wires and circuits. Because of this, the sensor does a better job of capturing images, especially in dim light, leading to clearer and higher-quality pictures.
